Wednesday’s meal distribution will be canceled because of weather
conditions. We are tentatively planning on distributing these meals on Friday, February 19th. We will keep you updated on any changes. Thank you for your continued support.

Attn RFMS and RFHS Students:
Tomorrow will be an “A” Day eLearning Day. This means your teachers will post lessons for your A day classes only. Remember that you will not have live lessons, but rather assignments posted on your teacher’s google classrooms. All assignments will be posted by 9am. Teachers will be available to assist via email from 9-2.

Due to the winter weather advisory issued to our area, school has been
cancelled for February 5, 2021. Because of this, all students will participate in an E-Learning Day. Students do not report to school on E-Learning Days and will be able to contact their teachers to log on beginning at 9 am.
Northshore is offering free dental exams, x-rays, cleanings and more for uninsured children up to age 17. Please see the attached flyer for additional information.

Tuesday, January 26th, will be an e-Learning day due to the expected inclement weather. Students do not report to school on E-Learning Days and will be able to contact their teachers to log on beginning at 9 am.
Due to school being cancelled for January 26th, the PSAT and WIDA
tests will be rescheduled at a later date.

Middle school and high school will have B day classes.

Wednesday, 1/20 is a delayed start, but we’re following a modified B Day Schedule. Times are posted in teacher Google classrooms.

Monday, January 18, 2021: No school (MLK Day)
Tuesday, January 19, 2021: A Day, regular start and dismissal
Wednesday, January 20, 2021: B with a delayed start---school begins at 8:30, but will include only periods 5, 6, SRT, and 7
Thursday, January 21, 2021: A day regular start and dismissal
Friday, January 22, 2021: B day regular start and dismissal
Remember: Tuesday begins the start of the third quarter, second semester. Wednesday is a delayed start, but a B day schedule. Class times have been posted on all teacher google classrooms.

Paper order forms are available in the main office for any senior that would prefer to pay by cash or check (make out to River Forest High School).

There are still over 70 graduates who have not ordered a cap & gown. Mrs DeRolf sent an email to all of those students and their parents (if they have an updated email in Harmony) last week that included a link to order online.
By the end of this week there will be paper forms in the main office for you to order as well- those forms must be filled out in person and can be paid by cash or check.
Please contact Mrs DeRolf if there are any circumstances where you cannot order or will not be ordering a cap & gown ASAP.

12-9-20 The MS/HS RF Band Concert is from 5pm -720pm in the HS Gymnasium. All tickets are Pre Sale for $2 in the HS Main Office from 8am-3pm.
Choir Concert
12-14-20 The MS/HS Choir Concert is at 7pm on 12-14-20. All tickets are Pre Sale for $2 in the HS Main Office from 8am - 3pm Monday - Friday.
In response to the Lake County Board of Health placing Lake County in the Red category for Covid -19, we are now required to do the following for all K-12 activities:
Only participants, support personnel, and parents/guardians will be allowed at all events and games.
All tickets will be sold Pre-Sale in the RFMS/RFHS Main Office for upcoming games from 8am-3pm.
No siblings or non-participating students will be allowed at games at this time.
No tickets will be sold at the event or game.
